| The trek experience was to help the youth get a small taste of what it was like for their pioneer ancestors when they crossed the plains to Utah. They had to pull handcarts all day and set up camp each night. |

| Square dancing in the evening made it fun. |

| This is the woman's pull to honor the women who made it to Utah on their own. All the women and girls on trek pulled their handcart without any help up the hardest hill. The men and boys stood at silent attention to honor the strength of women.  |
