Facing Cancer

My husband Ross has been diagnosed with multiple types of cancer in the past year.

His courage and faith while facing multiple surgeries and treatments has been so inspiring to me.

Knowing just how precious and fragile life is gives me a deeper appreciation 

for this remarkable, loving man I married. 

We discovered that they don't make hospital beds quite long enough for Ross.

                                      I have been richly blessed to be married to

                      this unselfish, funny, kind, thoughtful and hard-working man.

                                                    He is the love of my life!

Matthew Moody performs a piano concerto with Utah Valley Youth Orchestra

My grandson Matthew performed a piano concerto tonight!
Here he is with his mother April, father Dallan and brother Joshua.

This is Matthew right after his performance.

Matthew also played his cello during other musical numbers

with the Utah Valley Youth Symphony.

For 24 years John has been a great blessing and a joy to all who know him.

Celebrating our birthday. Caleb is my birthday boy.

My grandson Caleb was born on my birthday 16 years ago.

                                          Caleb lived for seven miraculous years.

                        I miss him everyday and look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

New Horizons Orchestra Rocks

                                          Ross and I are members of a unique orchestra 

                                                  called the New Horizons Orchestra 

                                                            sponsored by BYU.

                              The best thing about this orchestra is that they take beginners!

                                I started learning the violin for the first time a few years ago.

                              Ross started learning the bass for the first time a few months ago.

                                     It is just pain fun to learn something new at our age.

                         We love meeting new friends and making beautiful music together!

The True Spirit of Christmas is Giving

I've been collecting donations for the Dragons Pantry

that serves the needs of students and families in Nebo School District,

Tabitha's Way that helps families through tough times and Sock Fest.

My heart is so touched by the generous donations of my neighbors.

This is the true spirit of Christmas in action.
